We believe a genuinely secure app doesn't need to look suspicious to do its job well. The calculator inside Lockboxy computes correctly, 100% of the time — not a fake shell, but a real tool, exactly as it presents itself.

• Deliberately upfront: we state plainly that Lockboxy is a private vault app with a calculator disguise, including on the App Store — no secrets kept even from our own users.
• No backdoor: your passcode isn't stored anywhere but with you. Forgetting it means losing your data — that's the price of a system nobody can break into, including us — unless you've set up a Recovery Key, a Premium fallback you generate and store yourself in advance.
• Privacy over invasive ads: the free plan shows only non-intrusive ads that never use your vault content or activity, Premium removes them entirely, and we never sell your data.

Lockboxy is built and maintained by Đào Văn Thương, an independent developer based in Vietnam. There's no marketing team, no investors behind it — just one person writing the code, answering support emails, and personally accountable for every line of the privacy policy.
